Adagio Teas is a family‑founded tea company that has grown to serve over a million customers worldwide. With facilities in New Jersey, California, and the UK, plus three Chicagoland retail locations, Adagio combines tradition with innovation. The brand is known for its wide selection of teas, fast delivery, and commitment to creating joyful experiences for tea lovers everywhere.
Adagio Teas had a strong eCommerce website but lacked a mobile solution to simplify tea discovery and purchasing. Customers wanted a faster, more engaging way to explore teas, find local tea spots, and connect with community reviews. Without a mobile app, Adagio risked losing engagement among younger, mobile‑first audiences.
BASOV DESIGN partnered with Adagio Teas to create a mobile app that makes tea discovery fun and intuitive. The app allows users to uncover new teas by seeing what’s trending, contribute reviews, and discover tea places nearby or worldwide. Our team delivered a modern interface, responsive UX/UI, and a design system that reflects Adagio’s brand personality. The scope included brand design, creative direction, style exploration, product design, marketing website, and custom illustrations with animations.


















The Adagio Teas app successfully extended the brand’s digital presence, helping retain existing customers and attract new ones. With a beautiful interface and innovative features, the app simplified tea shopping and strengthened Adagio’s reputation as a modern, customer‑centric tea retailer.
