Founded in 1995, Beats&Bytes has grown from a small 400 sq. ft. second‑hand store into a 2,100 sq. ft. retail outlet. The company operates on the BUY‑SELL‑TRADE concept, offering video games, electronics, movies, CDs, and a wide range of new and used musical instruments. Beats&Bytes also specializes in refurbished computers, laptops, and monitors, while running a full computer service center. Their diverse product line includes computers and accessories, musical instruments, game systems, CDs, DVDs, home entertainment, cell phones, digital cameras, GPS units, and jewelry.
Despite its long history and strong product offering, Beats&Bytes faced challenges with an outdated brand identity and digital presence. The existing design did not reflect the company’s evolution from a small second‑hand shop to a full retail and service center. Customers struggled to connect the brand with the quality and reliability of refurbished technology, and the shopping experience lacked modern e‑commerce standards.
BASOV DESIGN developed a refreshed visual identity and redesigned the e‑commerce platform for Beats&Bytes. The new branding highlights the company’s heritage while positioning it as a modern destination for refurbished technology and entertainment products. The updated UX/UI design improved navigation, emphasized product categories, and created a trustworthy shopping experience. As a result, Beats&Bytes now communicates its value more clearly, strengthens customer confidence, and delivers a seamless retail journey both online and in‑store.
